Seven Summits - A Soldier's Quest

Kilimanjaro Done! Up Next, Elbrus

On Jan 6th Jake Birkholz and I made it to the summit of Mt. Kilimanjaro (19,341ft), just 70 hours after arriving at the park gate. Then we headed to Mt. Kenya. On 13 Jan Jake and I made it to Pt. Lenana (16,355ft) and then on 14 jan after 19 pitches of rock climbing with a rating of 5.10 we made it to Pt Nelion (17,021ft). Now back state side I have a busy year ahead. Today I was on AK Sports Now, video will be up ASAP, next weekend I am doing the 50K tour of Anchorage next Saturday. This summer I intend on running a sub 4 hour marathon, climbing Mt. Elbrus and finishing the fireweed 400 in under 26 hours!
